Dove, Dogs, and Shotguns

A Kansas man has been order to pay a fine for beating a Heermann’s seagull with a stick at Laguna Beach, Los Angeles. after the gull attacked his wife’s ice cream.

The $275 fine came after a Fish and Wildlife review of witness statements showed that the ice cream fell on its own and the gull’s didn’t attack.

The Rodney King type beating of the seagull violated the federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

Dragan Djuric  opted not to pay the fine and to bring the matter before a federal judge.

I hate to think what the seagulls might do if the judge dismisses the charge. Brace yourselves.
